My floral wedding album from the Petals Mini Album tutorial! I took some extra liberties and decided to do a window on the front with some pressed flowers, made the first page bigger, and added an extra page on the end. My only concern is that the front cover doesn't match the inside as well and I wish I had time to go back and change the paper.

Also a recommendation for Echo Park paper, we need a gender neutral wedding pack! Or maybe I should be on the hunt for some other brand that does that, this was for a same sex couple and most of the stickers didn't really go 😅

I have a hint and a question for everyone. I have a pair of Tim Holtz scissors. They cost alot so I take the upmost care of them. Well, I've discovered when Im trimming double sided tape from my paper that I get alot of tape residue on them, which makes them sticky. So I discovered that Olive oil cleans them and makes them like new again!! I just put a little olive oil on a paper towel, and clean the residue off! The oil disolves the residue off. I then wipe them off with a soft cloth, cut some paper to make sure its all off! My question is how do you clean your scissors?

Husband has to run parts this morning so I'm taking advantage of the big screen to review the videos on this month's challenge.

Made the Delightful Mini Album for my newborn grandson. He was named after Joshua Tree National Park as this is a place that holds great memories for him mom and dad.

I tried to combine both the National Parks and the baby theme together. This wasn’t very easy. I am terrible at embellishments so please be kind. There are some personal touches like using his name on the National Park sign and the onesie on the inside of the back cover.

This album was difficult for me to make emotionally as my daughter and I are estranged and I am not able to get to know Joshua. I hope this gift makes a little bit of difference in our current situation.
