July 01 — 31, 2025
Our host for this community challenge this month is our awesome member, and my sweet friend, Tonya Thomas!
" Christmas is a magical time of year and even better if I don't have to deal with cold temps or snow. So Christmas in July is the best of both seasons and it's my birthday month. Decorating for Christmas can get my mojo back and I hope it does for you all too. Echo Park has a lot of ephemera, tags and frames on clearance right now, so that is what I will be using along with Christmas papers. "

🎉 It’s here! The Official Release of the YBM Kitchen Collection! 8 Designs + 6 Precut 4 x 6 Recipe Cards, 50+ Elements & Coordinating Cardstock Sticker Sheet. I really love how quality the sticker sheets are. I thought it would be great to add in precut recipe cards too! All designs are hand-watercolor painted by me ;) then printed & packed here in my home. If you wanted to get a pack you can do so here.
I hope you love it as much as I do!
I’ll be back with a new project using the newly added 4 designs, recipe cards and stickers!
So keep your eyes out for that ;)

I'm still working my way through all of the classes. This is the Flutter Folio. It came together faster than I thought it would. This may become a go-to. It packs a lot of pictures.
I added a shaker front. The star confetti is a little hard to see. I also did this to the front pocket.
The paper is from a friend. I think she said she got it on Temu(?). Cutting out all of the cute images took longer than putting the album together! ✂️
I chose this pumpkiny-burnt orange paper. If I had to do over again, perhaps a different color. Something lighter to make the prints pop more.
I'd 100% recommend making this one! So much fun.

Hello everyone! I am happy to share my completed 4–MINNI-SOTA Albums. I was quite ambitious making 4–but 3 are gifts for my NZ cousins—we are cruising Hawaii this coming September and I wanted us all to make a memory! 2 are nautical themed and 2 are Hawaii/ tropical theme. I hope you like them! Thank you Frances for providing us with this tutorial—I just love making your albums! ❤️

Update: I added some flowers and this jeweled garland stuff and feather thing I found at HL. It definitely finished the album. It's ready for to be gifted.
Finished this wedding book for a cute young couple I work with. I don't remember the name of the pattern. Francės Long will have to help me out. This holds a lot of pictures!
I think the paper is Echo Park.
It needs some flowers but I haven't had a chance to go to the store. Crazy hot outside!

Challenge complete.
I used Carta Bella's Pirates Collection along with some other papers I picked up online somewhere. Added some gold buttons here and there to represent gold coins as well as some gold circle punches. I believe the anchor buttons are from a cookie tin my Meemaw gave me. (If you know, you know! 😂)
I didn't make this for anyone in mind, which is unusual as I always have a person and purpose (wedding gift, babyshower, etc.). Because of that, it took entirely too long to finish. I stared at it for days willing it to give me inspiration. WWFD?
I guess it will go on a shelf until someone needs it.

Started my challenge book. I’m using textured brown cardstock from Hobby Lobby and pairing it with Echo Park Our Baby Collection. Just loving it. I added some WRMK Envelope notches for my pouches and a scallop corner for a switch up :)

My take on the Gatefold folio , I really enjoyed this challenge. I used Echo Park Summer collection.
Hello! I hope you enjoy this video. Unfortunately I don’t recall which album this is (Frances help! 🙃). It was time consuming but relatively easy following the well done tutorials. I made it for my Mommy’s (once a Mommy always a Mommy) 90th birthday party and gave it to her as a gift for her 91st!! Parts 2 and 3 in separate posts.
Enjoy and be well!
