✅ Challenge Complete!! I used the Echo Park Special Delievery Baby collection. Love the neutrals. Omg I can’t believe I made it HAHA! Took 2 1/2 days!
Hello! I'm Ann and live in CA. I first discovered YBM 3 years when my sister was pregnant with my first niece. I had all the pieces cut, followed along with a tutorial to complete a front cover and back cover, then life started life"ing" and I shelved the project and never finished. Now that my sister has given birth to my second niece, I am determined to make and finish one. Lol. My goal is to start and finish it by Sunday so I can mail it to her on Monday.
I am a must have all the things that has to do with the craft kind of crafter and I also slightly addicted to paper pads and cardstock. I may have bought all of the Bazzill cardstock that my local JOANN had during their going out of business sale. I am pretty sure I have all the materials needed to make a book, but I am nervous for some reason. I guess there's no time like the present though!
Hello! I made my first full scrapbook today for my inner child, who I have not been kind to. It’s messy inside (like me!) but I took the opportunity to learn how to make mistakes, how to measure the inserts myself, and what the formula is for making the perfect sized photo and mat for it. Instead of scrolling for inspiration, I simply moved paper around my (3!) desks until something caught my eye. This was so therapeutic, I honestly started crying when I put the last picture in.
Thank you, Frances, for sharing your creativity with us. ❤️
Made this notepad cover for my home health nurse that comes to my house everyday. It really made her happy and therefore made my day! The paper on the inside had too many reddish flowers on it so I glued some purple fabric flowers on them as purple is her favorite color.
Love this template and it was the first time I used acetate for pockets.🥰
I also made this one for my Sister in-law for Christmas. Not Valentine but still the same album. I really like the way this one turned out.
For February challenge, I dont have any Valentine or Love paper left but I really did like this peach and green thinking of you paper
This is my first ever project !
I totally forgot that I had ordered a Valentine's bundle from Carta Bella (one of my fav. design paper creators). So I used the Mighty Mini tutorial rather than do a second challenge album. I really love this album and will use it again.
One issue, no matter the weight of the cardstock that I use and the amount of gentle pre folding - when I bend it around the chipboard for the cover, it frays and sometimes breaks in spots. If anyone has suggestions, I'd love the help.
