🏔️Thinking about a Utah trip in June!

Hey friends! I’m brainstorming a potential trip to tour the Salt Lake/Sandy area during the first two weeks of June. My sweet friend is showing me around, but I’d love to see you, too! Nothing is official yet, but if enough of you are nearby, I want to host a special community gathering so we can hang out. I'm also thinking it would be amazing to connect on camera and record a podcast episode featuring you and your beautiful books! Before I book anything, I need to know: Are you in the Utah area? 🎙 New Podcast Episode is Live!

I’m so excited to have my very first podcast guest, Maria! Come join us for an inspiring conversation about crafting, creativity, and learning to let go.

Maria traveled all the way from Puerto Rico to attend our California in-person class, and this conversation turned into so much more than just papercrafting.

We talk about creativity as healing, watercolor as a lesson in letting go of control, burnout, perfectionism, life after retirement, and how crafting can truly help people through difficult seasons of life.

This was honestly one of the most heartfelt and empowering conversations I’ve had, and I know so many of you are going to love Maria’s story. ❤️

I made this Choice Folio for one of my favourite nurses while I’ve been in hospital. I had to keep myself busy somehow!!

Played with the Kindful Mini Album Tutorial to make a simple pup album for a friend. She asked me to add all the keepsakes she kept for his first year including his puppy teeth. 🤭. It’s my first time adding cut fabric to an album. Thank you again Francès for such a sweet tutorial.

She keeps going and going and going! Small but mighty. I had so much fun showcasing this paper from October Afternoon. This is constructed from the Playful Mini Album tutorial, which was a big inspo for my joining the community. Happy crafting!

May Challenge

I have been waiting for the perfect design to use this Wizard of Oz paper. Nothing seemed worthy until now.

I used navy as the base. Surprisingly, this collection didn't have red glitter shoes. I'm assuming it's a trademark issue. I use red glitter stickles on the shoes. I also included the red glitter paper and red flowers to make sure I captured my version of the movie.

I remember the first time I saw the movie. I was in kindergarten and had chicken pox. We had a black patent leather chair that was cold. I kept flipping the cushion over and over because it kept me from itching. My mom said I must have watched it 100 times that week. It was the only thing that kept my interest so I wouldn't itch.

Several months ago I made the Donna Marie ornament. I needed to practice, so I made five more🤪. Finally got to decorate them last week. 🤣
