The August challenge (mostly) completed. I started this theme b/c pretty paper by Graphic 45, of course. I was working on it while staying with a friend post shoulder replacement - nurse Christine. She is going on a Hawaiian cruise this winter, so I'm leaving a lot of the design like the cover and stickers for when she makes this her own. I took a lot of risks using a die for the waterfalls and flaps. Still figuring out which dies will work best with what.

Photos not taken by a pro photographer.

I’m sorry I have been MIA these past few months. I have been having different surgeries and more surgeries to come. Plus my husband and son both having surgeries also. I am hoping to get back into making albums with this amazing group! I have so much paper that I can use when it comes to making albums again.

I didn't like my purple fairy book so tried the challenge again. I like this one more and had a fun time with the new base color (I don't think I've don't craft paper color before). I love these challenges! I can use some of the papers on the back shelf.

Spice Girls Tribute – Window Trifold Folio

For this album, I made a Window Trifold Folio (aka: a scrapbook that opens more times than I’ve replayed “Wannabe”). I used the Echo Park Have a Nice Day Collection Kit, because the vintage florals, checkerboard prints, and smiley faces had the perfect girl power vibe.

To make it extra special, I added custom Spice Girls die cuts from Etsy — because if you’re going to scrapbook a Spice Girls concert, you don’t half-step it. Between the shaker window, pull-out tags, and all the bright patterns, it turned into a fun little time capsule of ‘90s nostalgia with a side of sarcasm.

So I had even more fun if thats possible with August challenge. My son's fiancé birthday is this week. She said she had no where to put all their photos. And her fave color is red. I had a bunch of small pieces from 6x6 DSP pads so I did alot of piecing together.

August Challenge - The Good ‘Ol Folio. I’ve been hoarding this paper line for years so it was time to create an album for our cottage photos from years back. I will actually be adding photos to this mini album 🤣 so I will insert lots of fun embellishments as I fill the pages.

Finished the Good ‘Ol Folio challenge. And it was challenging for me but worth the effort! I went to Scotland last year so this was the perfect album. I found some fun Scottish Folk Art paper on line and some fun stickers. Can’t wait to fill it full of photos from my trip. I left all the photo mat sizes so I know what to order. 🤪

Here’s my version of the Good ‘Ol Folio challenge-the Disney edition. I used the Best Day Ever paper collection by Kate Cuttables. I used that other method for constructing the album, when you wrap the front, back cover and the spine separately. Every thing else is the same. Again, this was fun! Waiting patiently for the next challenge.
