When you have insomnia, it doesn't take long to finish a book! I also work a little different than Frances.

As I watch the video, I draw a sketch of what each page looks like and what direction flaps and pockets go. I make note of what tag or insert or picture mat goes with what page and what direction I need to stamp my camera. 

I cut everything but the design paper and score everything. From there, I work one page at a time. I fold, tape, and attached all the parts for that one page including the picture mats. After all of the pages are built, then I attach them to the book. This keeps me organized and everything I need for each page is all together. I don't have to search for picture mats later or which tag or insert goes where. 

Once I attach the pages, then I have fun decorating. Picking what design paper is pretty easy. I try to stick to a solid or small print with a large print or a light print with a dark print. Something that makes the eye not hang around in one place for too long. 

The hardest part for me is deciding what fun accents I want to add. I will move them around and around, but eventually stick them in the spot where I first put them. Always go with your first choice!
