Francės Long I haven't decided what to do with it. I might give it to the mom with the bigger book so she can keep it on her desk at work.

Challenge complete.

I used two of my favorite cowboy embellishments - cowboy star buttons and leather.

I used leftover paper from a book I finished for a baby shower.

Yes I have a running list. My goal is to make one of all. I've made several over and over.

Something else that would be helpful would be to include where the picture mats and inserts go on the cut list.

For example, insert A goes on FIC or picture mat B goes on pg 3.

Francės Long I think I can put some blame on Lisa Frank for making color and pattern mainstream.

Personally, I grew up extremely poor. My mom would draw paper dolls for me and we would color the clothes together and make fun patterns. I didn't know we were poor and these moments are my favorite childhood memories. When I see beautiful paper, I believe, deep down, that I'm chasing that memory. Chasing that connection with my mom. Chasing the love.
