I talk to you and respond when you say words of encouragement. "You are doing great too, Teacher!" "Oh no Frances, you went to fast. I'm going to have to rewind!" "Girl!! You are too kind. I know this is looking good." Cheers!

Right? The base comes together fast and then I sit and stare at the papers and then sit and stare some more. I walk away and come back to sit and stare. I'm not an indecisive person except with papers! 😆

The colors are beautiful. I would be teary-eyed happy to have this for keeping memories safe.

Haha It's a razorback. If you call it a boar, you'll be run out of town!

The mirrors are from paper studios.

I am facinated how other people interpret directions and how they put together their designs for their scrapbooks. My process is very linear. I have to work on one page at a time. I want to know everything about that one page before I can process what is on the next page. 🙃

What about you?

For the challenge, I worked on this bee-utiful book. I went with a green base instead of brown or black. I absolutely LOVE the color!!! There are hexagon cut outs throughout to represent the bee hive. The little hexagon mirrors made my day! I even did a few cut outs on the back cover. Lots and lots of cutting.

I may have over decorated the book, but I couldn't help myself.

Thank you. It is Jolee's and I've had it for a very long time. It had a Walmart clearance sticker that had the hyphen (Wal-mart). So it is that many years old. The long horns, boots, hat, and horseshoe were all all in the set. The paper is Cosmo Cricket - Wanted Collection from 2006.

I watched hours of YBM videos. I took note of things I liked and wanted to try. I decided to try and sketch out notes and measurements, but in the end, I just started winging it. It started with the see through pages. That thought and the crazy outfits fans were with stripes and sequins inspired the entire design. This book is in memory of my mom. She was a HUGE Razorback fan. I'm donating it to a local school auction to help raise funds.

I did not think it would take as long as it did because Mrs. Long makes it look so easy and doable. Practice makes perfect! I forgot magnets on the inside cover. I hid them under the red glitter dots. The envelope kept rubbing the frame on the next page so I made a huge magnetic flap. Imperfectly perfect!

I don't know if I will ever master the spine. It eludes me!
