I would like to know how you develop your ideas / plan for a new class project—album and book—ie: do you get different ideas from what you see online or in other designs or books?, do you wake up with an idea or maybe two and develop a idea for a page?do you develop one specific idea for a page—and then combine with other separate ideas?, do you sketch an idea first—modify or change?, how do you make your final template?, is it made with plain cardstock or paper?

I would love to try and design a book or folio myself but wanted to hear your take on how you do it!

Curious minds want to know! šŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ‘

Can you share the town? Is it same as last year? My hubby has family in Clovis CA so he’d have somewhere to spend the day—plus we would bring our little dog 🐶

I am hoping to make it! Not quite sure! I really want to go!

I have! I have been in our Church Craft fair in the Fall for the last 4 years. I listened to your podcast Frances on pricing the albums. I usually put $30-$45 on them. I sold 1 in the 4 years. They should be priced higher but some people just don’t want to spend the money. In my area everyone stops and looks and admires them saying hoe talented I am however…I think they don’t want to spend the money. I am not doing the Craft show anymore. It’s lots of work as many of you know. I do better with my ETSY store. It’s small but I have sold 3 albums on there.

You are too sweet—none of my comments are meant as a negative to the tutorial—your design is spot on—I just find it hard with the black cardstock—I have a great craftroom set up—my husband set up two workshop lights—nice and bright —I also will rewind and watch sections over—but I just wanted to share—not foranyone to ever give up—your book designs are awesome for sure—so I might add a few more bits on the photo pages—Thank you again! The paper I used is Graphic 45 IMAGINE—I bought it a few years ago—so not a current paper. Thank you Frances for all you do for all of us! šŸ¤—šŸ¦‹ā¤ļø
