I've been building books since before Y2K, only recently are they worth sharing. I have 6 pets, too much paper, and never enough time.

Wow, Veronica! This table is dreamy! I like that you lay out the data in front of you like this, very sharp.

I think I'm on the opposite side of the organization spectrum. I cut and build the base pages and sometimes I follow the photo mat layouts as intended but I tend to do whatever strikes me at the time, zero plans. I do like this a lot though, may keep throwaway scraps to a minimum!

Hi Everyone!!

My name is Cate. Born and raised in Utah, I've been building handmade books and scrapbooking since 1998 and haven't slowed down since (I've definitely evolved from the stapler and printer paper though).

I started building minis in 2018 after I got married and have crafted over 100+ books to collect or to give them away as gifts.

I studied biology and chemistry and have worked in research and development for 10 years and like to apply that kind of experimentation to craft supplies and paper. I've learned there's no wrong way to create and express yourself!

So excited to be part of this community and see so many talented people who are passionate about making albums!

Hi Meghan!

It's fun to meet others who converted from the layout style to mini albums, it was a game changer for me! Nice to meet you!

This is delightful! I love that it still feels airy with a black paper base. Excellent choice with the zigzag stitching!

Way to maximize pockets throughout this book! Love it!

What a great choice in colors! Really like the way the embellishments are balanced throughout the book!

Petals Album challenge completed!!

I used a product line from a local company to me in Utah called Storybook Memories with a strong Peter Rabbit vibe. I swapped out the picture frame on the cover for a shaker frame with champagne colored pearls.

I loved this challenge because it gave me a chance to focus on playing with patterns and using very small pieces for the patterned cardstock.

Can't wait for the next one!
