I've been building books since before Y2K, only recently are they worth sharing. I have 6 pets, too much paper, and never enough time.

Way to go, Tonya!! Your book and style looks so crisp and cohesive!! I like how you batched your colors together so nicely! And is that a chalk pen you used for journaling?? It adds so much texture and care free summer vibes!! ❤️

Challenge complete!!

This was such a fun project to revisit! I explored lots of fun mini features to use up things in my stash: vellum windows on pockets, mini polaroid frames, an abundance of vellum mini flowers, a washi tape banner, stamping as decoration, and turning one of the waterfall pages into a bonus pocket!

I used a travelers notebook from Studio Calico that was chopped down for my pattern paper. I didn't know how much I would love using grid paper as decorative paper but I like that it instantly gave me lots of space for journaling.

I think I may need to make one more so I have a trio!

Hi Kalie!!

Welcome to this fun and amazing community! I love that you are able to find a way to mix in crafting with being a mom and caregiver. I hope you explore the folios collection, that's what helped me really get confident in making mini albums. So glad you are here!

Hi Deb!!

I'm glad you are here with us and feeling a little better! Congratulations on cancer free and your recovery! ❤️

Hi Francès,

I have tried silent browsing and it's lovely but my phone speaker is on silent 90% of the time anyway. I swear I have dog ears and I don't like how audio sounds coming from the phone speaker. If I'm browsing anything it's on silent and then I use a speaker for classes. 😅 Not sure if that helps you!

Wow, Veronica! This table is dreamy! I like that you lay out the data in front of you like this, very sharp.

I think I'm on the opposite side of the organization spectrum. I cut and build the base pages and sometimes I follow the photo mat layouts as intended but I tend to do whatever strikes me at the time, zero plans. I do like this a lot though, may keep throwaway scraps to a minimum!

Hi Everyone!!

My name is Cate. Born and raised in Utah, I've been building handmade books and scrapbooking since 1998 and haven't slowed down since (I've definitely evolved from the stapler and printer paper though).

I started building minis in 2018 after I got married and have crafted over 100+ books to collect or to give them away as gifts.

I studied biology and chemistry and have worked in research and development for 10 years and like to apply that kind of experimentation to craft supplies and paper. I've learned there's no wrong way to create and express yourself!

So excited to be part of this community and see so many talented people who are passionate about making albums!
