🌳 Gaia November Challenge

Hello everyone! We are so excited to launch our November community challenge hosted by Rebecca Robinson!

For this month, we will be making the Flutter Folio focusing on the theme Elements of Nature — Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. You can use one, some, or all of the elements in your album!

Examples for each element:

Earth: Nature hiking paper, woodlands, and forests

Water: Ocean, beach papers, blues, waves, and aquatic patterns

Fire: Warm colors, oranges, reds, and golden hues

Air: Birds, clouds, dandelion fluff, and things that soar like planes, helicopters, hot air balloons

We cannot wait to see what beautiful folios you create, Ready? Set....Go!

I did two of the quicker projects today - the Cheerflip Folio and the Notepad Holder. This completes my first page of the list.

I didn't open the Cheerflip for photos since it's just photo spots.

And excuse the weird, oddly colored notepad. I didn't have one of the right size to use. 🤷🤦. My handwriting needs work but it's for me so I can deal with it.

I plan to fill the Cheerful with photos to send to my mom in Oregon.

Hello, it’s a little late, but here is my monochromatic mini album for the “MonOctober Challenge.” I chose green-and yes, it’s my favorite color!

Working with one color was more challenging than I expected, but seeing everything come together was so rewarding.

I tried the Mellow book and it was anything but mellow with me. I used kraft paper that was too thick. The pages are rubbing like crazy. I wanted to use the rest of this Oz paper, but didn't have enough to cover the entire pages and then mat pictures.

I snapped a few pictures. Wrapped it up and away it goes.

I shall try again with enough paper to cover the entire base!

I did the Flipping Cute Folio though my husband may call it the Flipping Manly Folio. I found some photos of his military days and had this "Bourbon Barrel" paper set from Michael's that fit the manly theme really well. It was a quick Saturday morning build before house cleaning. 😊
