A not so traditional graduation album inspired by the Kindful Mini Album Shabby Chic walk through with a slight vintage twist. Pulled out all the stops with different media textures including textue pastes and hand made papers. Iâll admit, I will be sad seeing this one go. Rarely do I want add to my keepsake collectionđĽšđ¤Ł. Thank you once again Francès for the tutorial and reintroducing mix media and the âChonkyâ albums!

Paper Stashes & Commissions vs. Creative Freedom
I had so much fun chatting with my crafty friends Jodi and Marilyn for this one! We talked about paper stashes, favorite album styles, creative freedom, & custom orders. If you've ever bought paper you couldn't resist or wrestled with balancing creativity and commissions, I think you'll enjoy this conversation. Come listen and let us know your thoughts on these topics!
Paper Stashes & Commissions...
My take on the Peace Folio! This folio came together so easy!! It was a absolute joy to make! I used my scraps from my previous project, welcome baby boy by echo park. I made the chipboard frame on the front using the same method as Frances did for the front of the Marias Memento Box. It came together so easy! It makes an excellent piece for a brag book, or book for grandparents to show off the new bundle of joy!
Album I created inspired by Kindful mini album. Many more pics to come if app allows
Made a mini note pad book with the off cuts from the bigger one I havenât embellished this one yet but I might leave it as is đ
Just finished a Marias Memento Box! Making crafts to get ready for a craft show in November, and this is the first on my list. Frances, the tutorial is amazing! Even for me, lol who has duh moments lol Decided on a boy theme as im a little partial to boys as I have 3 sons lol up next will be a small brag book made from the leftover scraps. Any ideas on which class would be the best?
I am so happy to share my first project. I was inspired to create this album from YBM Kindful mini album which was the perfect colours for our Sons wedding. Â I used a garter to decor the cover, and 3 different design pads (I found this part the most difficult) but they loved it so much, my daughter in law was in tears when she knew I had made it. Â Thank you so much Frances for helping me to find my love of crafting again and be able to give our Son and Daughter in law such a personal gift of love.

Challenge
June 08 â 30, 2026
Hi everyone!
I'm excited to announce a new community challenge for this month!
I know many of us are getting busy with summer plans and vacations, so I wanted to keep this month's project simple, quick, and satisfying. The challenge is to create the Kindful Flipbook (inspired by the tie-fold from the Kindful Mini Album)
You can use any paper and embellies you'd like. It can be a greeting card, birthday card, mini album insert, or anything else you can think up!
For the challenge, you only need to make one Kindful Flipbook, but of course, if you enjoy it and have the time to make several, that's wonderful too! (just make sure you post all of them for us to see đ)
Excited to see your flippy's â¤ď¸
Let's do it! âď¸
Hi everyone! I may have mentioned to you all that this past May 5th I had a right shoulder replacement and would be out of commission for at least a month. It was pretty rough but I am just now starting to get back into the craft room. Prior to the surgery I started Francesâ PINWHEEL FOLIOâI have to say I am pretty familiar now with Francesâ teaching style and methods. I always print the cut sheet and watch the video firstânow in many cases I choose to make 2 of the projectâone to gift or sell and one to keepâfor my own portfolio. This design I thoughtâŚwow! I can get this done quick! Itâs pretty easy! Well, as I followed along with the videoâI struggled with the steps and positions of thingsâI often have small mistakes and can correct but this time I was really making it a hot messâfrom Francesâ original design. For me, maybe itâs because I try to hurry or go too far ahead of her tutorial, maybe when working with black cardstock as the base âI struggle to see the design and placement âmaybe itâs just because I am an old ladyâand my brain gets foggy sometimes! LOL đ but..you know whatâŚI was getting the original design so off the track I just gave up and created an adaptation of the original! It is pretty nice if I must say! What I want you all to learn from this isâthere are really never any mistakesâyou learn to work around thingsâI do have a 2nd template ready to go and will take my time to make it like the original tutorial but in the meantimeâHere is my version of the Pinwheel Folio! Have a great day everyone!
