Thank you, Shayne! I bought some new edgers for paper and loved the way this one looked. I'm still messing around with that will work best but not bad for a first go. 😊

I went back to the drawing board and created a memory box that is 10 inches square by 3 inches deep.  This gives me plenty of room to add additional pictures, maybe in a thicker envelope insert, as well as additional inserts, cut-aparts or other memories around whatever occasion it's used for.
I'm still struggling with paper breakage.  It happens at 65, 80 and 110 lb. weight and whether I use glue or tape.  I've tried soft scoring, deep scoring, soft folding, aggressive folders, it just doesn't seem to help.  So this was my only major issue this time.
As per usual for me, I probably added too much between the acetate for the cover but I'm ok with it.  I consider it not too bad for my second go at a box like this but definitely need to work on construction and decoration.
These inserts are just adorable.  Can't wait to add some winter memories to the box.

Francės Long the acetate envelope was probably one of my favorite inserts ever! I've been pondering other ways to use and will definitely make more.

Thank you Irene! I'm keeping the removal in my back pocket. First, I'm rebuilding a new box which is slightly deeper and slightly larger. I'll keep you posted! 🤭💜

This was made so well!  I love the paper collection and especially love the "stacking" photo mats in one of the last photos.  What a cool idea! 💜

I will definitely use the insert ideas again!  I love them...they look so fun with the acetate windows!  I'll figure out a way to use them somewhere.  :)I didn't think about it with the box (which is my bad) but I have started adding a half to one inch to the spine of many projects to account for my "fat" paper. 😂  I'll remember this for the next box build.Side note - not sure if this is allowed here but I bought these two sets of corner edge bands and divider bands to use for future box builds to help keep things aligned and steady (which I'm not good at freehand).   I'll let you all know how they work for me!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D7R2721?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

For the first time, I'm going to admit defeat. I did the July challenge but the paper for the box defeated me. 🫠 I got the box made but with just adding the paper it made the inserts too thick to allow the box to close. Next time, I'll use a thinner paper line throughout. I loved all the inside pieces so I will figure out a different way to use them. I went with a travel theme and used up some paper I've had for 10+ years.
