I couldn't remember if I had shared the album I made for my own wedding or just my daughter's but I don't think I did. I used the BOA (Big Ol' Album) and my eyes were bigger than my material. I'll stick some first anniversary photos next year to fill it out. If you have a lot of pictures or maybe a baby's first year, this album is excellent for big occasions! I didn't have a single paper pack collection but combined several with my wedding colors or adjacent colors. Sometimes I love and sometimes I wonder what the heck I was thinking. LOL.

I went back to the drawing board and created a memory box that is 10 inches square by 3 inches deep.  This gives me plenty of room to add additional pictures, maybe in a thicker envelope insert, as well as additional inserts, cut-aparts or other memories around whatever occasion it's used for.
I'm still struggling with paper breakage.  It happens at 65, 80 and 110 lb. weight and whether I use glue or tape.  I've tried soft scoring, deep scoring, soft folding, aggressive folders, it just doesn't seem to help.  So this was my only major issue this time.
As per usual for me, I probably added too much between the acetate for the cover but I'm ok with it.  I consider it not too bad for my second go at a box like this but definitely need to work on construction and decoration.
These inserts are just adorable.  Can't wait to add some winter memories to the box.

For the first time, I'm going to admit defeat. I did the July challenge but the paper for the box defeated me. 🫠 I got the box made but with just adding the paper it made the inserts too thick to allow the box to close. Next time, I'll use a thinner paper line throughout. I loved all the inside pieces so I will figure out a different way to use them. I went with a travel theme and used up some paper I've had for 10+ years.

I'm anxious for new inspo!  I've just completed my wedding book (now including photos) and my daughter's wedding book (empty but not for long).  I would love some red white and blue inspired ideas!  The US is an interesting place right now but I would like to make a 4th inspired project.  Thoughts? Or have I jumped the gun on the July challenge?

I decided to use the June challenge as an opportunity to make my new neighbors a "welcome to the neighborhood" card. I think this template will be a great addition to use for cards as well as my scrapbooks! 💜 #junechallenge # kindfulflipbook

I used the Kindful Mini -as is, no alterations to size - to complete my May challenge.  I used the Secret Garden paper collection from Carta Bella.  Though I love the collection, I wish it had more options in the darker prints and more options aside from floral patterns, the doors and keys were cute.  I didn't go as shabby chic as I could have since I have gaps in my materials that need filling (Amazon here I come...)  I think this will be an album tutorial that I return to often. #maychallenge #kindfulminichallenge

My desk always looks like a tornado hit it when I'm nearing the end. The chaos works. However when I'm done with the book, I have to straighten and put everything back from whence it came so that I can find it for the next project that uses that thing. #judgementfreezone #didyousaychaos

I wasn't able to find the time to do a 4th bee book but I'm a step ahead on the May challenge.  I've made my daughter a wedding book - her colors are black, dark burgundy and ecru with hints of gold and silver.  Very hard combo to find scrapbook paper in this combo so I fabricobbled it together.  I used the Kindful Mini pattern but took it from 8x8 to 8x10.  I had to make adjustments inside and some worked well and some did not.
This is my 3rd try to make a book for her and I'm still critical.  If anyone knows of a wedding pack that would fit better with this colors, I'd appreciate a heads up!

My first attempt at the #mariamementobox ! I will definitely try this again. It was challenging but I love the endless ideas for this. I used the graphic45 Life is Abundant collection.

I totally forgot that I had ordered a Valentine's bundle from Carta Bella (one of my fav. design paper creators). So I used the Mighty Mini tutorial rather than do a second challenge album. I really love this album and will use it again.

One issue, no matter the weight of the cardstock that I use and the amount of gentle pre folding - when I bend it around the chipboard for the cover, it frays and sometimes breaks in spots. If anyone has suggestions, I'd love the help.
