🏆August CHALLENGE COMPLETE

I had the best time playing with the Seasons Greetings paper kit from Carta Bella, and oh my goodness — the vintage vibes in this collection are EVERYTHING.

This folio layout is one of my favorites because it’s like a Mary Poppins bag of memory-keeping… it fits so many photos but still has flaps, tuck spots, and little surprises hiding everywhere. Perfect for storing all the Christmas chaos.

That bold December 25th cover piece (front and center, because duh).

Little “special delivery” touches that make it feel like Santa dropped this off himself.

The rope tie I originally planned to use turned out to be too chunky for the closure — but honestly, it looks just like Santa’s toy sack rope, so it still makes me ridiculously happy. 🎅🏼🎁

This project makes me want to fill it with hot cocoa photos, gift-wrap disasters, and all the cheesy Christmas pajama shots.

Challenge ends on the 31st. Am I calmly finishing up? Absolutely not. I’m knee-deep in paper scraps pretending the decorating stage doesn’t take a literal eternity.

At least the cover’s done, so I can look like I have my life together while the inside is still chaos. Totally fine. Everything’s fine. 🙃

☀️ Endless Summer? More like Endless Second-Guessing. 😅

So I just finished the challenge album using the Echo Park Endless Summer collection kit and ephemera pack… and let me tell you: the album came together just fine — but the decorating part? That was a whole other emotional journey.

I kept trying to make the colors flow, but the only thing flowing was my confusion. At one point, I had three different ephemera clusters arguing on my desk like they were in a reality show reunion episode. Chaos. Absolute chaos.

In the end, I embraced the mess, slapped it all down, and decided to call it “abstract summer vibes.” 🌴🎨

But hey — not every project is going to win Best in Show, and that’s okay. I’m not defeated. I’m just mildly annoyed and highly motivated to try again. 😎✂️

Happy Thursday everyone! The Petals album was the first YBM album I decided to tackle. I used a collection from Echo Park called ‘Telling Our Story’. I love the stickers and cut aparts from this collection. I really enjoyed making this album, and I’ve already started on another!

Hello Everyone! My Name is Meghan and I live in Loudoun County, Virginia. I am a Domestic Engineer ( a name I made up, I’m a SAHM), a Navy Veteran, and a Memory Preserver (that’s the fancy name a friend gave me instead of scrapbooker). I have a degree in Fine Arts and have been making scrapbooks since I first discovered a Hobby Lobby in 2000. 😆 Previously I would make layouts to place inside photo albums, and I still do, but it was about a year ago that I started making whole albums. I stumbled upon this community after watching one of the product shares on YouTube and I absolutely fell in love with the technique and style of these scrapbooks.
