🌿🍉 I love how you left the outside all green like a watermelon rind—it feels calm and simple—and then when you open it, BOOM, you get that vibrant burst of color inside, just like cutting into a real watermelon. Such a clever design choice, and it makes the whole album feel like an experience. Absolutely stunning work!

Seriously want to watch the classic Rudolph right now, but it’s too early……right?!? 😂

🏆August CHALLENGE COMPLETE

I had the best time playing with the Seasons Greetings paper kit from Carta Bella, and oh my goodness — the vintage vibes in this collection are EVERYTHING.

This folio layout is one of my favorites because it’s like a Mary Poppins bag of memory-keeping… it fits so many photos but still has flaps, tuck spots, and little surprises hiding everywhere. Perfect for storing all the Christmas chaos.

📸 Some of my favorite details:

That bold December 25th cover piece (front and center, because duh).

Little “special delivery” touches that make it feel like Santa dropped this off himself.

The rope tie I originally planned to use turned out to be too chunky for the closure — but honestly, it looks just like Santa’s toy sack rope, so it still makes me ridiculously happy. 🎅🏼🎁

This project makes me want to fill it with hot cocoa photos, gift-wrap disasters, and all the cheesy Christmas pajama shots.

Challenge ends on the 31st. Am I calmly finishing up? Absolutely not. I’m knee-deep in paper scraps pretending the decorating stage doesn’t take a literal eternity.

At least the cover’s done, so I can look like I have my life together while the inside is still chaos. Totally fine. Everything’s fine. 🙃

(said in total sarcasm, because honestly I’m loving every single minute of this challenge)

Spice Girls Tribute – Window Trifold Folio

For this album, I made a Window Trifold Folio (aka: a scrapbook that opens more times than I’ve replayed “Wannabe”). I used the Echo Park Have a Nice Day Collection Kit, because the vintage florals, checkerboard prints, and smiley faces had the perfect girl power vibe.

To make it extra special, I added custom Spice Girls die cuts from Etsy — because if you’re going to scrapbook a Spice Girls concert, you don’t half-step it. Between the shaker window, pull-out tags, and all the bright patterns, it turned into a fun little time capsule of ‘90s nostalgia with a side of sarcasm.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!  This is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are so cute and that little heart punch you have in the corners is just adorable. I really love that added detail.  Job well done!

This whole album is so beautiful 🤩 and the ram paper on the pocket made me gasp 🫢 out loud. It’s absolutely amazing.

Those acetate Minnie tags are chefs kiss 🤌

OMG!!!😱 it’s a great folio sprinkled with Disney Magic……I’m in love 😍

Haha, you totally get it! 😂 Sometimes the “fun” part of crafting really is the figuring out part — and then the walking away part is just as important! Fresh eyes (and a fresh attitude!) definitely save the day more times than I can count. I’m so glad you think the album came together nicely — your encouragement means a lot. Can’t wait to fill it with all those sunny summer memories and laughter. Thanks so much for the sweet support! 🥰✨
