Here's my cover and spine. Look how close the hinge is. Lol, goodness, it's like an extra appendage.ย  In the photo it's at the top snug to the back cover.ย  I added another hinge to bring my book to 4 pages.

Frances talked about this a bit in the part III of the Ho Ho Hello album. I found it very useful; however, a video with tips on this would be awesome.

Just in time! I had already started this Ho Ho Hello album but in a fall theme! I've made a few mistakes along the way, one of which I just recycled the cover, spine and back cover as the paper was tearing and I placed the covers too close to the spine. Then, on round 2, I goofed on placing my hinges in the spine. I'm not normal because a normal person would have placed the spine in the middle of the paper crease, where they are joined...nope. My spine was not centered and when I looked at my work, I asked "why are there only 3 hinges"? The 4th hinge butts up to the inside back cover, just hanging out. I decided that I can just add one hinge and it works. I'm just rolling with it.ย
