Veronica, thank you!! It was commissioned by the mother. She and the father love the book 😊.

Thank you so much, Debbie 😊

I love adding the year to the front when I know the year the baby was born 😊. And thank you, the month stamps makes such a cute addition to the pages 🥰

Our weekend together was amazing!! I’m so glad I was able to be there!!

Thank you so very much, this book was truly a challenge, one I didn’t think I was going to finish. It had my brain in a vice. I learned that 1) I hate doing commission work, lol and 2) if I just keep pushing, I can finish and make it work. Not only can I make it work, but I can also be happy with the finished result.

Hi, Kimberly Adams, where are you from in Indiana? I live in Fort Wayne 😊. Welcome to this amazing group! It’s such a safe place to share and learn.

For my baby books, if I need to utilize Etsy for digital papers and ephemera, I gravitate toward watercolor images. Mostly because if I stay with watercolor, they all look comparable to each other if I need to pick from different artists. Otherwise, definitely BOLD & BRIGHT!! Those make me so happy!!

Depending on how big the book is that I’m making, that determines whether I use everything or not. It’s definitely my goal to use as much as possible. When I started collecting paper collections to make books with, I started by buying not only the paper collection, but also a package of ephemera, (sometimes two, if they were different), the chipboard elements, self-adhesive color dots, the sticker book if there was one, and then several extra sheets of the papers from the collection. I discovered that I rarely pulled from all that extra stuff, so I quit buying it. I still buy extra sheets of the papers to make sure that if there’s a particular pattern that I want to use throughout the whole book, that I have plenty. Usually polka dots, plaids, stripes, and smaller patterns. Those are so versatile so I know I can use them when I scrapbook. I also try to pay attention to the background color to make sure I have color and also neutral so my pages flow. I learned that specifically from you Francės, I thank you for that. It’s also helped my scrapbook pages flow as well. 😘

Francės Long, I've used this collection at least once, it's so sweet and adorable!!!
