Depending on how big the book is that I’m making, that determines whether I use everything or not. It’s definitely my goal to use as much as possible. When I started collecting paper collections to make books with, I started by buying not only the paper collection, but also a package of ephemera, (sometimes two, if they were different), the chipboard elements, self-adhesive color dots, the sticker book if there was one, and then several extra sheets of the papers from the collection. I discovered that I rarely pulled from all that extra stuff, so I quit buying it. I still buy extra sheets of the papers to make sure that if there’s a particular pattern that I want to use throughout the whole book, that I have plenty. Usually polka dots, plaids, stripes, and smaller patterns. Those are so versatile so I know I can use them when I scrapbook. I also try to pay attention to the background color to make sure I have color and also neutral so my pages flow. I learned that specifically from you Francės, I thank you for that. It’s also helped my scrapbook pages flow as well. 😘
