Hi Mary! I’m glad we figured it out regarding your Forevermore album page one rounded pocket! 💗 hows everything coming along? 😍

Hi Marit! 💗

You are so right…the US paper weight system (lb) based on 500-sheet parent size is confusing compared to GSM!

To make things easier for this and future projects, here is a quick conversion reference for the materials I use:

65 lb Cover = ~176 GSM (Light cardstock)

80 lb Cover = ~216 GSM (Medium cardstock)

100–110 lb Cover = ~270–300 GSM (Heavy cardstock)

Medium Weight Chipboard = .050" caliper / ~1.27 mm thick (roughly 1/16")

Since you are using a thicker 100-sheet A5 pad, adjusting your spine to account for the extra pad depth plus your chipboard covers will definitely give your pen the room it needs. You are doing an amazing job adapting the pattern to European standards! 😍✂️

Hiii! Have you checked out the Kindful Mini Album? Your 8 x 8 design paper will need to be trimmed down a little smaller than 8 x 8, but you will have very minimal wasted paper!

Awee thank you Susan!! Yes! Thank you for being my cheerleader! Always helps motivate me 💪🏼😍

Hi Marit! Oh I see sorry have not answered earlier! The original notepad I used in my tutorial is 1/4 inch thick. If yours is about 3/8 of an inch thick then I would increase your spine size by about 1/4” in width. So your spine should be 1 inch and to be safe—you could even make it 1 1/8” just to account for a little bit thicker of a pen (depending on how thick your individual pen will be.) hope this helps!

Kristie Of course! Woo Hoo! And I’m here in the community all the time so I will see them all!😍😍😍
