Hi Everyone!!
My name is Cate. Born and raised in Utah, I've been building handmade books and scrapbooking since 1998 and haven't slowed down since (I've definitely evolved from the stapler and printer paper though).
I started building minis in 2018 after I got married and have crafted over 100+ books to collect or to give them away as gifts.
I studied biology and chemistry and have worked in research and development for 10 years and like to apply that kind of experimentation to craft supplies and paper. I've learned there's no wrong way to create and express yourself!
So excited to be part of this community and see so many talented people who are passionate about making albums!

Hi! Here are some photos of my version of the petals album. I used the Butterflies collection from HL. It’s an all inclusive kit. I stitched the cover with gold thread to coordinate with the gold in the papers. I haven’t finished decorating the album yet, as I thought tomorrow is the 30th. (DUH) Anyway, I wanted to join in on the challenge so that I made sure I had some creative time.

✅ Challenge Album complete! I cannot tell you how much fun I had decorating this one with baby paper by Echo Park. It’s been so much fun to see everyone’s books created in different ways during this month and I am really looking forward to the next one. I added chipboard cover risers and a magnetic booklet as a front element. You can hear all the details and see the rest of this mini here in the newest video.
