90th Birthday part 2
Update: I added some flowers and this jeweled garland stuff and feather thing I found at HL. It definitely finished the album. It's ready for to be gifted.
Finished this wedding book for a cute young couple I work with. I don't remember the name of the pattern. FrancÄs Long will have to help me out. This holds a lot of pictures!
I think the paper is Echo Park.
It needs some flowers but I haven't had a chance to go to the store. Crazy hot outside!
I'm still working my way through all of the classes. This is the Flutter Folio. It came together faster than I thought it would. This may become a go-to. It packs a lot of pictures.
I added a shaker front. The star confetti is a little hard to see. I also did this to the front pocket.
The paper is from a friend. I think she said she got it on Temu(?). Cutting out all of the cute images took longer than putting the album together! āļø
I chose this pumpkiny-burnt orange paper. If I had to do over again, perhaps a different color. Something lighter to make the prints pop more.
I'd 100% recommend making this one! So much fun.
Challenge complete.
I used Carta Bella's Pirates Collection along with some other papers I picked up online somewhere. Added some gold buttons here and there to represent gold coins as well as some gold circle punches. I believe the anchor buttons are from a cookie tin my Meemaw gave me. (If you know, you know! š)
I didn't make this for anyone in mind, which is unusual as I always have a person and purpose (wedding gift, babyshower, etc.). Because of that, it took entirely too long to finish. I stared at it for days willing it to give me inspiration. WWFD?
I guess it will go on a shelf until someone needs it.Ā
I made my first album for a friend who was expecting two little girls. It was more work than expected. Do you need that long for an album? Overall, I think I sat on it for 30 hours š³
Hello! My name is Deb. Iāve been making/following along with Francesās tutorials for a few years. I had a bit of a crafting ābreakā within the past year and a half as I was going through cancer treatments. I have been cancer free for a year and am finally on medications that donāt make me super tired all the time. I also teach first grade full time and have two teenage children who are in many activities. Now that summer is almost here and Iām feeling so much better, Iām ready to start crafting again! I joined the June challenge to get me started again. š
It wasn't easy for me, doing this Challenge. I think it because I choose a Stack I really didn't love. It is too "white" for me... but at the end - it came out nicely. And waiting for the summer vacation photos on July
Challenge complete!!
This was such a fun project to revisit! I explored lots of fun mini features to use up things in my stash: vellum windows on pockets, mini polaroid frames, an abundance of vellum mini flowers, a washi tape banner, stamping as decoration, and turning one of the waterfall pages into a bonus pocket!
I used a travelers notebook from Studio Calico that was chopped down for my pattern paper. I didn't know how much I would love using grid paper as decorative paper but I like that it instantly gave me lots of space for journaling.
I think I may need to make one more so I have a trio!
Hello everyone,
Last week I started the album FOREVERMORE, but I'm not finished at all.
What do you think of it so far ?
Have a nice day !
