Here's a new kind of challenge for everyone! I started an album before the Aug. challenge began. But I stopped to join the challenge. I only completed the cover and set it aside. Now I don't remember which album I was going to make. 🤭 It measures 10x10 with a 3/4 inch spine.

"This folio was the very first album I ever made with Frances’ channel, and it’s still one of my absolute favourites. I love constructing albums that aren’t overly complicated but still hold a ton of photos — and this one is a true workhorse. It’s fun to make, and easy to modify to suit a variety of different designer paper lines. It’s been a crazy hot summer here in Southern Ontario, and I’ve been loving every excuse to stay indoors with A/C cranked, happily crafting away. Hello! I hope you enjoy this video. Unfortunately I don’t recall which album this is (Frances help! 🙃). It was time consuming but relatively easy following the well done tutorials. I made it for my Mommy’s (once a Mommy always a Mommy) 90th birthday party and gave it to her as a gift for her 91st!! Parts 2 and 3 in separate posts.

I completed the August challenge! A couple of little details only to do but overall done. Wanted to post now before pre I forgot! I used Echo Park “ Let’s Go Travel” Paper pack— I had a bunch left over as I used to make “ The BigOl’ Album” a couple years ago for our New Zealand trip! This was a fun project! I hope you like it! There were a couple mistakes where I reversed things but overall it does not make a difference, I was able to make it all work.

Here's the Memory Box for an "everything before the wedding" album. The mom of the bride is going to do a traditional scrapbook for the wedding photos. I've left some things blank for her to customize. Please forgive the poor photography, but if I don't take the photos now, they won't get taken.

Well, the pinwheel folio *slightly* altered to make it portrait style photos and more pockets. I have made the pinwheel folio many times and find they are perfect for grandma brag books. This is the 2nd for the same client! First I have re- engineered. Thanks Frances!

Had so much fun with July's Challenge. I'm not the biggest fan of envelope pockets so I did a deconstructed one instead.
