I think glitter must have been the way to go! My first challenge and it was a challenge! This was a ton of fun and great skill building. 😊🥳

Challenge complete. And boy did I make it a challenge!

I made the mistake by thinking I could wrap a book in glitter cardstock. There is glitter all over the house. I'm finding glitter in places it should not be!

Is it pretty? Yes! Will I ever do it again? Nooooo!

The paper is a digital download from Etsy. There were no sayings or cut-a-parts, so I had to cut images from the paper. I printed some big and some small to have various sizes. The colors are not the traditional Christmas color scheme which I liked.

This is one of my favorite layouts and I might say that about all of them, but this one I've replicated the most.

The last picture is George. She just had to see what I was doing.

My first full album is the Baby Girl Mini Album. I had a great time making this, the video was easy to follow and frankly soothing to listen to. 💜. I'll be branching out for the same album but my own designs. These will be perfect for my 2 granddaughters, 1 and 2 yo.

I made my first album for a friend who was expecting two little girls. It was more work than expected. Do you need that long for an album? Overall, I think I sat on it for 30 hours 😳

June 2025 Gatefold Challenge

I used my small stash of 8x8 Graphic 45 paper, cut aparts, and a die cut pack that I've been holding onto for the past 9 years. I found that the book style allowed me to feature my favorite prints and could hold seed envelopes from my garden.

I've really enjoyed my first challenge and plan to participate in more.

Hello everyone! I am happy to share my completed 4–MINNI-SOTA Albums. I was quite ambitious making 4–but 3 are gifts for my NZ cousins—we are cruising Hawaii this coming September and I wanted us all to make a memory! 2 are nautical themed and 2 are Hawaii/ tropical theme.
