September Challenge. Loved making this and will make more. Can others share what they do with theirs? I’ve gifted many and have the permit to sell but it’s not done well locally.
One of the three projects completed with the Simple Stories Say Cheese collections. This is the Animal Style Portfolio. 🥰

I completed three projects with Simple Stories Say Cheese collections that I have had for many years: Gatefold portfolio, Animal Style Portfolio and the Gatefold Folio v. 2. I will upload videos soon. 🥰. These will be for our 2026 trip to WDW. 🤭

Challenge
September 06 — 30, 2025
Our host for this month's challenge is our kind member, and my sweet long-time friend, Susan Glass!
"The Clutch Folio album is my favorite tutorial by Frances. I have made this into a purse and also just an album. I would love for this to be the challenge for September to see what our crafty friends come up with. The challenge should start now until September 30th. Any paper theme!"

Challenge complete. I used a Paper Studios $6.99 pack from Hobby Lobby. It had plenty of paper, cutouts, and stickers. I used a few sheets from my stash to supplement, only to give more options.
I do not have a hole punch heavy duty enough to punch through chipboard so I wove a ribbon through the paper and around the spine to create a handle.
I may go back and add more stuff to the cover. However the paper is so busy I don't think it would stand out.
This was super easy and fast.

I finally completed the Gatefold Recipe Folio using France’s Long YBM Kitchen Collection. The only difference you will see is that I used a chef’s hat instead of a heart for my stamp and pocket. Okay so maybe I didn’t have a stamp and instead I used an image from Cricut, flattened it to different rectangle sizes, printed and cut. Figured I’d might as well go ahead and use the tag image too because I was messing up paper trying to freestyle one tag. And then of course I rearranged the paper and added a couple of more decorations. This build is sooo cute and I love opening it, looking through it, closing it and repeating it over and over again. Thank you, Frances for being such a caring and friendly individual. Thank you for your guidance and for all of your beautiful creations. On to the next challenge!
