At least 36 bats were used in the making of this haunted house photo picture book album box. None were harmed during the process, but…it ain’t over yet. 👻🏚️🦇

I started this album before the August and September challenge. I had to set it aside due to…life. Anywho, here is my version of the BIG OLE ALBUM using the classic Simple Stories Front Door. This thing is HUGE. It has multiple uses. Not only am I able to store my family photos in it, but I can also do a few curls and overhead presses. Very impressive. I really enjoy making your albums, Frances. I am hooked.

I haven’t attached my handle yet because I don’t have the supplies I want to use. I will be using this cute string of beads, as displayed in the video, that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I’m also using The Paper Studio, Bowed and Beautiful, paper pad for this challenge. I love this book so much that I constructed two. I have yet to finish the 2nd one.

I finally completed the Gatefold Recipe Folio using France’s Long YBM Kitchen Collection. The only difference you will see is that I used a chef’s hat instead of a heart for my stamp and pocket. Okay so maybe I didn’t have a stamp and instead I used an image from Cricut, flattened it to different rectangle sizes, printed and cut. Figured I’d might as well go ahead and use the tag image too because I was messing up paper trying to freestyle one tag. And then of course I rearranged the paper and added a couple of more decorations. This build is sooo cute and I love opening it, looking through it, closing it and repeating it over and over again. Thank you, Frances for being such a caring and friendly individual. Thank you for your guidance and for all of your beautiful creations. On to the next challenge!

Here’s my version of the Good ‘Ol Folio challenge-the Disney edition. I used the Best Day Ever paper collection by Kate Cuttables. I used that other method for constructing the album, when you wrap the front, back cover and the spine separately. Every thing else is the same. Again, this was fun! Waiting patiently for the next challenge.

I used Carta Bella Christmas paper collection to make a book last year and I ended up selling it, which I really didn’t want to. I bought more paper at the time so I could recreate the same album. Never did. I’m glad I saved it all this time. Here’s my partake in this challenge. It does not seem like my front cover is covered in acetate, but it is. I used acetate for my pouch in the front inside cover as well. Instead of adding a pocket on my tag ( I intended but forgot), I made it a pocket with a folder insert. And for the photo cards on the back inside cover, I used these cute little tiny magnets around the edges. This was fun!

I created this project using Frances Long’s 1st edition of her Kitchen collection and stickers from the 2nd edition. I added solid color cardstock because I do too much and I didn’t plan anything and I was running low on paper. I just go with the flow. I love the colors and designs of the paper collection and the fact that it’s handmade. I used Design Space to make my kitchen window for the front cover, and for my recipe cards…and to design my tags and cute butterflies and “Recipe Slayer!” I want to also mention that I don’t like cooking, but I LOVE crafting. I can cook, though.
