Francės, you’re so right, lol. I love a book with lots of pages, I’m so glad I get to interpret your beautiful designs my way and create the extra pages 🄰🩷. Although, most of the time, I create them exactly as you’ve made them 😊

This is the book I just finished for my grandson’s 6th birthday. It was so fun to make! I used the Slender Mini Album to start with. I doubled the spine width and doubled the pages. I also used only the smaller sized photos and didn’t use any of the 8x10 spots, I then added an expanding pocket to the back inside cover. I couldn’t find a monster truck paper collection, so me and my old friend, Etsy, made a run for it, lol. My grandson apparently has a strong feeling about mint chocolate chip ice cream, as shown in photo #6 šŸ˜‚. Such a goofball, lol.

Tracy R Dunigan, I’ll bet you think you’re done adding photos of your album for us to see….you’re not, LOL. We NEED to see more! This is so cute, how could you leave us hanging like this?! šŸ˜‚ What I see, so far, is absolutely adorable!!! I’m so glad you shared this much!! 😊

Tracy R Dunigan! This. Is. Awesome!!! This is such a fun book! I love the black, red, and white with the wood grain, it’s really striking. I keep looking at the pictures, wishing there were more pages, lol.

Jeannine Powell and Frances, I have that issue on occasion too. I usually just use a little art glitter glue and tap those little spots back down. Paper is fiberous and has a tendency to do that when it’s folded against the grain. That’s why some of the sides look nice, and some can look a little ā€œhairyā€. It’s really the paper telling you, ā€œIt’s me, it’s not youā€, lol. I’m a perfectionist paper crafter and have had to get over this particular issue. I’ve not found a better idea than to glue the edges back down. Be careful with the glue, though, just use a little bit and tap the paper back in place, otherwise, you’ll have a gluey, ripped up paper mess….a whole other issue, ain’t nobody got time for that, lol.
