I have a small arsenal of scissors as well, lol. My go to pair for most of my cutting, especially fussy cutting, are a pair of Cutterbees snips. I’m a Stampin’Up demonstrator so I also gravitate toward my SU snips. (Side note, I clean them often with an adhesive eraser. They come clean quickly and without having to use something like an alcohol wipe or something else that you have to wait for to dry.)

Francės, buy one that looks soft. They have some that are “stiffer” looking. I don’t like these as much. It is, after all, an adhesive eraser, which means, if you try to use the stiffer one, it can tear your paper. I use it in my books as well for erasing adhesive. I’m not sure about glue, but it works great to remove things like ATG tape, AdTech, etc.
