I am Angela from Buckeye AZ. I too found Frances by accident when searching for album designs. My first YBM album was in 2020, the 8x8 Baby album as a gift for a conworker having her first baby. I decided to make 2 at the same time and being it was my first album, it took me forever, at least it seemed that way! My friend was having a girl and her nursery theme was cherry blossoms. I struggled finding scrapbook paper with cherry blossoms and ended up finding wrapping paper that I bought online and cut down to 12 x 12 sheets. It came out beautiful! I was buying only single tutorials back then but have since subscribed for all the classes and get the podcasts too. I have made several designs since the first album mostly for gifts. Frances’ teaching style is awesome as she takes her time and gives encouragement all the way. I am getting to know her style better and can anticipate her next steps! I love the visuals and having a cut list. I post all my projects on the Mini Album Artists—YBM Students Facebook page. Thank you Frances ad hope everyone has as much fun as I do!
This book was a ton of fun! Have you had your hand at it yet? It's slim but compact ( my favorite type of style ) and it holds around 25 photos and it can come together in a nice after noon. I'm excited to see which papers you choose for yours :) Here's more about the Delightful Mini :)
xoxo I'll always be here if you need anything 🤍🌱
Excited for this next episode! I'm talking about the importance of crafting + how to de-stash + color/pattern combinations for a cohesive album and some rants-- I'm having fun ;)
I was super excited to re-design this book again after 10 years! She elegantly highlights 50 pictures ( but of course we can stuff more in our pockets hehe ) if you haven't had a chance to check her out yet you can do so here much love and hope you enjoy! 🌱🤍
Hello. I have a suggestion for your next podcast. In a couple of your tutorials you mention that you sell your albums at an event called Mother's Day in the Park. I am interested in selling at a festival near me. I have never done this before. Could you explain your process? I am curious about how to display the albums for people to look at. And how do you avoid people or children from damaging the albums when they look at them. Thank you so much!
Hi Frances,
I stumbled across your classes and knew I had to subscribe immediately. Your classes are brilliant and you are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your gift 😘
