"Big paper is great, but sometimes companion paper products are forgotten about when we get going on projects. I want to highlight the use of 3x4 journaling cards or cut-a-parts from paper and really embrace lots of patterns, colors, and unique layering! The Gatefold Folio was one of my first and one of my favorites and I can't wait to see everyone's interpretation of the waterfalls!"

I had so much fun putting this little recipe folio together! I used my brand new Your Book of Memories Kitchen Collection that I hand-painted! I know you might have seen it already, but! This collection is so cute I had to make sure you did. It’s the first of its kind released in my new Mini Pack Series! I’m working on a side kick sticker sheet to go with too ( soon to launch ) My Baby Boy Paper Pack is still in the works but I thought I’d just make a mini pack because something in my artist heart was calling me!!! 🎉 The Your Book of Memories Kitchen Collection is here! This is my second ever paper pack and the first of its kind released under the Mini Pack Series! ( I’m working on a cardstock sticker sheet to go with it now - soon to launch ) Also, my baby boy paper is still in the works so it should be ready by the end of this year or early next ;) I had so much fun hand-watercolor painting this collection and I hope you love it as much as me :) You can grab your pack here if you wanted to have one for yourself!

I created this project using Frances Long’s 1st edition of her Kitchen collection and stickers from the 2nd edition. I added solid color cardstock because I do too much and I didn’t plan anything and I was running low on paper. I just go with the flow. I love the colors and designs of the paper collection and the fact that it’s handmade. I used Design Space to make my kitchen window for the front cover, and for my recipe cards…and to design my tags and cute butterflies and “Recipe Slayer!” I want to also mention that I don’t like cooking, but I LOVE crafting. I can cook, though.
Update: I added some flowers and this jeweled garland stuff and feather thing I found at HL. It definitely finished the album. It's ready for to be gifted.
Finished this wedding book for a cute young couple I work with. I don't remember the name of the pattern. Francės Long will have to help me out. This holds a lot of pictures!
I think the paper is Echo Park.
It needs some flowers but I haven't had a chance to go to the store. Crazy hot outside!
I'm still working my way through all of the classes. This is the Flutter Folio. It came together faster than I thought it would. This may become a go-to. It packs a lot of pictures.
I added a shaker front. The star confetti is a little hard to see. I also did this to the front pocket.
The paper is from a friend. I think she said she got it on Temu(?). Cutting out all of the cute images took longer than putting the album together! ✂️
I chose this pumpkiny-burnt orange paper. If I had to do over again, perhaps a different color. Something lighter to make the prints pop more.
I'd 100% recommend making this one! So much fun.

I used Carta Bella's Pirates Collection along with some other papers I picked up online somewhere. Added some gold buttons here and there to represent gold coins as well as some gold circle punches. I believe the anchor buttons are from a cookie tin my Meemaw gave me. (If you know, you know! 😂)
I didn't make this for anyone in mind, which is unusual as I always have a person and purpose (wedding gift, babyshower, etc.). Because of that, it took entirely too long to finish. I stared at it for days willing it to give me inspiration. WWFD?
I guess it will go on a shelf until someone needs it.
I made my first album for a friend who was expecting two little girls. It was more work than expected. Do you need that long for an album? Overall, I think I sat on it for 30 hours 😳
Hello! My name is Deb. I’ve been making/following along with Frances’s tutorials for a few years. I had a bit of a crafting “break” within the past year and a half as I was going through cancer treatments. I have been cancer free for a year and am finally on medications that don’t make me super tired all the time. I also teach first grade full time and have two teenage children who are in many activities. Now that summer is almost here and I’m feeling so much better, I’m ready to start crafting again! I joined the June challenge to get me started again. 😊
