Hi Everyone. Super excited to be a part of this community! Frances makes some amazing books and super easy to follow instructions. I have made a few from a few years ago. I have been crafting for many years and recently closed my business teaching crafts to kids so I can focus on slowing down and making some fun stuff for and with my grandchildren.

Hi YBM Community. I’m Cheryl a big YBM/Francis fan.  I’m sharing my Petals Album from Beth’s birthday bash challenge in April. I used Simple Stories Simple Vintage Weathered Garden. Life got in the way and I finished it the first week in May and I’m just now Posting it. I made a few changes but very pleased how it came out. Thank you Francis.

Hi Everyone!

I'm Kalie (Pronounced Kay-Lee), from the UK and I love crafting but I've been so wrapped up in work and mummy duties that I've completely lost my mojo. It was the notebook holders that caught my eye because I thought these would be fab gifts for my daughter's friends and the perfect excuse to do some crafting! After watching the tutorials, I realised that I'm going to have to do some measurement adjustments as our paper sizes/note pads are slightly different but I'm sure it will be fine. Having looked through the app I'm intrigued by the folios and albums, which I have never made before 😍 so I guess I need to do some paper shopping, it's a hard life!

I do have a question though. I'm having a hard time finding 12x12 chipboard. I'm wondering if we call it something different here? I can get grey board which seems to also be used as book binding, would this work?

Thanks

Hello! My name is Deb. I’ve been making/following along with Frances’s tutorials for a few years. I had a bit of a crafting “break” within the past year and a half as I was going through cancer treatments. I have been cancer free for a year and am finally on medications that don’t make me super tired all the time. I also teach first grade full time and have two teenage children who are in many activities. Now that summer is almost here and I’m feeling so much better, I’m ready to start crafting again! I joined the June challenge to get me started again. 😊

Hi Everyone!!

My name is Cate. Born and raised in Utah, I've been building handmade books and scrapbooking since 1998 and haven't slowed down since (I've definitely evolved from the stapler and printer paper though).

I started building minis in 2018 after I got married and have crafted over 100+ books to collect or to give them away as gifts.

I studied biology and chemistry and have worked in research and development for 10 years and like to apply that kind of experimentation to craft supplies and paper. I've learned there's no wrong way to create and express yourself!

So excited to be part of this community and see so many talented people who are passionate about making albums!
