It wasn't easy for me, doing this Challenge. I think it because I choose a Stack I really didn't love. It is too "white" for me... but at the end - it came out nicely. And waiting for the summer vacation photos on July

Challenge complete!!
This was such a fun project to revisit! I explored lots of fun mini features to use up things in my stash: vellum windows on pockets, mini polaroid frames, an abundance of vellum mini flowers, a washi tape banner, stamping as decoration, and turning one of the waterfall pages into a bonus pocket!
I used a travelers notebook from Studio Calico that was chopped down for my pattern paper. I didn't know how much I would love using grid paper as decorative paper but I like that it instantly gave me lots of space for journaling.
I think I may need to make one more so I have a trio!

Hey all. I finished one of two albums using the new Petals Mini Album Tutorial. I used 2 different Beach Day Shabby Chic papers from a store called Imagine the Art Designs on Etsy. LOVE this store's papers.
The 4 pockets, I covered both sides with the paper but made a pull out for inside each pocket that holds 4 photos.
I made this album in 1 day. Really, very easy to make. No windows or acetate. :-)
I will have a video walk-thru today or tomorrow.

Hi! Here are some photos of my version of the petals album. I used the Butterflies collection from HL. It’s an all inclusive kit. I stitched the cover with gold thread to coordinate with the gold in the papers. I haven’t finished decorating the album yet, as I thought tomorrow is the 30th. (DUH) Anyway, I wanted to join in on the challenge so that I made sure I had some creative time.

Hey everyone. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I have finally posted videos to both of the Petals albums I made - the beach-themed one and the coral reef/mermaid book. I will do 2 posts with links to the blog and video if you want to check them out. Bad news is that, at the moment, I will not be able to renew my subscription but I might be back from time to time when I see an album I need to learn.
