Watched the Gatefolio Recipe tutorial and decided to make one with just recipe cards. I made a flip tab inside so I could add all my favorite recipes. I used up every scrap of Frances beautiful paper (x2) and had get more recipe cards from Amazon. Found some pretty leaf design that I think works well. Thanks again Frances! You are truly inspiring.

I'm so excited. I made two of the books in the last 3 days! The beginner mini book and the Delightful book. The beginner book came out well. Especially for my first time. The Delightful book I did as a Christmas book and it turned out so pretty! (pictures later). I love them as much as I hoped I would. And Frances you are the "BOB ROSS" of Memory albums for sure. I love your style. I love your creativity, and I love your passion for what you do. Your "pace" at teaching is just perfect! Thank you so so much. And also what is the name of the Facebook page for this group? Is it called Your book of memories on Facebook too? Thanks!!! ❤️

I am new. I have been scrapbooking and card making and doing journaling and mixed media for about 30 years. I keep seeing your books on YOUTUBE and decided it was time to dive in. I reside in the Seattle area with my hubby and two gorgeous BOXERS. I have 3 children and 4 grandbabies. I LOVE crafting and am pretty good with a CRICUT too :)

Not sure if I am going to get it complete in time due to life interruption so I thought I post what I have done so far. I enlarged it and will give more info on it later once completed.
UPDATE: Its not done yet, my mom had to have surgery so I have had to be with her. Thankful she is back home now and is recovery nicely. Still long road but we are getting there. I hope I will be able to get back to it soon. ANYWAY back to subject. The paper I used is a digital scrapbooking kit from The Scrappy Kat (https://store.gingerscraps.net/The-Scrappy-Kat/). I is called BOO TO YOU and will be released on 10/31. (I get early access for working for her design team). The windows and doors and boards are cut out 50pt chipboard on my laser cutter. I then ink them with Tim Holtz distress ink (vintage photo on these) let them dry really well (2 days). The pumpkins and count are from her digital kit as elements which I upload to cricut, make a kiss cut sticker, print then cut. The size of this album is much larger than the challenge. Once it is completed I will give over all dimensions.
