Working on the Forevermore Album using baby paper this time! Having fun. What are you working on?
Here's the Memory Box for an "everything before the wedding" album. The mom of the bride is going to do a traditional scrapbook for the wedding photos. I've left some things blank for her to customize. Please forgive the poor photography, but if I don't take the photos now, they won't get taken.
When you get distracted while making an album! I'm leaving it. Building the memory box album for someone.
Peace Album. This is really a quick little album for a "last day" (not minute) gift! I used the digital collection Baby Boy from Nitwits. Just trying my wings using printable collections. Using the solids for the cover wrap helped cut out a step making it quicker to put together.
To all crafters. I have been asked to make 5 different albums for males from age 8 to 21. Can anyone share some page samples? Can't wait to see what your ideas are.
All albums will have 4 interactive pages.
Thanking you in advance.
Brenda
Finally, my Abstract Folio is as complete as I can make it. Why do I make things so difficult on myself, lol? I chose to use the paper pack Charcoal Collection, and the Charcoal Acetate Assortment, by 49 and Market. There isn’t any ephemera or cut aparts with this collection so I used the Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Botanical ephemera pack, and I also “stole” some bits and pieces from some other 49 and Market collections I have. To finish it off, I used some stamps with black ink to add a few sentiments. I created the butterfly page by choosing a fairly easy image from Cricut Design Studio. Again, making things more difficult for myself than I needed too, lol, but I love the effect. I kept everything really basic and neutral and then just added pops of color here and there. The back is very plain, and very neutral. I’ll post a photo of it in the comments. I added a few photo booklets so I have the option for more photos. All in all, while this was extremely challenging for me, I enjoyed the challenge and I’m glad I participated. All of these angles just about made me lose my religion, lol, but I made it and I’m extremely happy with the results!!
Just finished the Double Waterfall Folio which was so much fun. Made quite a few mistakes but I sure learned a lot. (Notice the front tag hiding the ribbon I forgot to put on before the design paper and the mitered top corners of the envelope).🤦♀️ But I had a blast and this one is just for me. I absolutely love the Echo Park Bee Happy paper. Now on to the next project where I hope to learn from my mistakes. Thank you Frances for such wonderful designs!
Made my Abstract Folio!! Last weekend we went on a walking tour in Sāo Paulo with a photo club and I decided to make the Abstract Folio with a photography theme. I had to make this quickly and did not do all of the cutouts that Frances did.
I made a blog post with links to everything I used, more photos, and a link to the walk-thru on my YouTube Channel -

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.
